A boy moves to a small island to live with his grandmother in hopes of a fresh start. He soon meets an alien from a faraway planet who requests his help in catching a creature that is residing in the nearby waters. Along with a famous fisherman and a fellow classmate, they work together in the hopes of saving the town.
Tsuritama is an anime all about fishing but that doesn't mean it is boring. It is comedic and suspenseful with a unique cast of characters that are guaranteed to make you smile. I have watched it multiple times and every time it is a 9/10 from me :)
